City of Columbia To Host A Career Fair on APRIL 26

The City of Columbia will be hosting a career fair on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center, 1101 Lincoln Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
The city has felt the strain of decreases in labor and qualified team members. By hosting this career fair, we will lead ‘The Great Rehire,’ by showcasing just how dynamic the City of Columbia is with representation from multiple departments across the City such as Parks and Recreation, 911 Telecommunications, Public Works, the Police and Fire departments, just to name a few.

Applicants should be prepared to present a copy of their resume and their best foot forward. For employment consideration, all candidates will need to successfully pass a drug screening, provide proof of vaccination and present forms of identification during the pre-employment process, which will take place after the hiring event.
