City of Columbia OBO Small Business Week Celebration

During the annual Small Business Week Celebration last week, the City of Columbia recognized the successes of local small businesses and provided businesses with management tools and networking opportunities to be successful. This year the City of Columbia's theme was “We’re Open For Business: Celebrating Our Small Business Community.”
The celebration keynote speaker Monte “Two Gunz” Barrett, former WBC Heavyweight Championship Boxer and Entrepreneur, discussed how he applied his boxing skills of perseverance, endurance, and commitment in defining his purpose and achieving success as a business owner.
Mayor Daniel J. Rickenmann began remarks and was recognized four City of Columbia small businesses that were able to find opportunities and grow their businesses during the pandemic.
The small businesses that were recognized were: Mr. Lance Brown – Rhino Medical Supply, Inc. Ms. Karen Erinfolami – Karen’s Kitchen and Catering Mr. Deon Generette – 7Sunday Live, LLC Mr. Landry Phillips – Regal Lounge – Men’s Barber & Spa Mr. Scott Middleton, owner of Main Course, was also recognized earlier by Mayor Rickenmann during the City’s Small Business Week Kickoff event.
