The City of Columbia’s Office of Business Opportunities participated in several activities last week to celebrate National Small Business Week. The week concluded with the 10th Annual Small Business Week Conference - Building Bridges to New Opportunities and Innovation. Motivational speaker and author, Chris Singleton was the keynote speaker. There were informative breakout sessions tailored to growing and sustaining small businesses. During the event, the U.S. Small Business Administration held an awards ceremony and matchmaking session for businesses.
